Not-So-Superheroes
My latest entry on Worth1000 was in a contest that asked for entries showing superheroes making not so super blunders. I took a slightly different approach, showing Mr. Incredible's punishment whenever he uses his superpowers in public.

Award-winning artwork!
I found this website a while back called Worth1000. The site simultaneously runs a number of themed Photoshop contests and has been featured in media like PC Magazine, Good Morning America, BBC, CNN, New York Times, and USA Today.
I submitted my first entry last week in a themed contest asking for silhouette images and made this one from the underside of a leaf with the silhouette of a frog shining through. It was my first entry, and won an award!
I entered another one this morning that asked for a combination of two classic paintings. I took the popular painting American Gothic, swapped out the farmer's wife for Mona Lisa, and placed some of Cezanne's still life fruit and van Goh's ear on the farmer's pitchfork. We'll see how this one does!
**UPDATE** This one finished in the Top 10 and was selected as a judges "Top Pick!"

Immortalized
I'll admit it, I am a sports junkie, and if Dylan has picked up one thing from his father this early in life, it is his excitement for sports. If there ever was a two and a half year old jock, he's it. He's become especially fond of basketball lately, and is actually pretty good on his little hoop which he have to drag up and down the stairs for him every day. Let's just hope he develops a bit more of a game than his dad ever did!
I started thinking, as does every father at some point or another, about the possibility of his son becoming a legendary professional athlete, the kind they build statues after. Well, that got me thinking ... and led to my latest photoshop creation: a statue of a young Dylan in Central Park, forever immortalizing his early passion for the game! I couldn't find a good image of Madison Square garden to work with, so I put the statue in Central Park with the rest of the statues and monuments there.
